The turnout was small for a public meeting in Kilflynn last night over the closure of the local post office. The closure is part of An Post’s rationalisation plan under which 159 offices nationwide have closed or will close. Treasa Murphy asked organiser, Brian Finucane of People Before Profit, was the low turnout a sign that most people have accepted the decision.
