The ban was introduced four years ago after forty sheep were injured by dogs on the Reeks. However, the ban is being ignored by some dog owners. Patricia Deane is with South Kerry Development Partnership and says people need to be mindful that chasing sheep, never mind attacking them, is distressing for the animals.
