William “Willie” Quilter of Cherrytree Drive, Listowel and formerly Farrandeen, Lixnaw
William "Willie" passed away, surrounded by his loving family, in the loving care of the wonderful staff at University Hospital Limerick on 29th December 2025. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Hannah, brothers John (Listowel), Francie (Newmarket) and Mike (Lixnaw). Willie will be sadly missed by his loving family, his brother Tommy (Farrandeen), sisters-in-law Joan and Noreen, nephews, nieces, the Walsh family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Willie will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on Wednesday (31st December) from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Michael’s Church, Lixnaw on Thursday morning at 10.45 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Willie will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (streamed on churchcamlive.ie/lixnaw-parish-live-stream). Interment afterwards in St. John Paul II’s Cemetery, Ballybunion Road, Listowel.
