Tom Joe O’Donoghue, Knocknageeha, Gneeveguilla, Co. Kerry. On Friday, 28th January 2022, unexpectedly in Cork University Hospital, TOM JOE. Deeply missed by his loving wife Peggy, daughters; Josephine, Sheila and Brigid, sons; Niall, Denis, Tomás, Padraig and Michael, daughters in law, sons in law and partners. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his only brother Paddy, grandchildren; Aisling, Diarmuid, Eilish, Yvonne, Heather, Illona, Cormac, Neil, Thomas, Klara, Kayleigh, Melissa, Leanne, Rory, Donncha, Orlaith, Noah, Michelle, Jacob and Conor, great grandchildren; Jack and Robyn, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, colleagues who shared his love in Athletics and wide circle of friends.

Private reposal at his son Padraig’s residence, with an open reposal at St. Bridget’s Funeral home Gneeveguilla from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday, 30th January. On Monday (31st January), Tom Joe’s funeral cortege will depart Padraig’s residence at 11am, for arrival to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla. Requiem mass for Tom Joe will take place at 11.30am followed by burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
