Thomas (Tom) Hickey, Bridge Street, Mallow, Co. Cork and formerly of Tureencahill, Gneeveguilla;
suddenly but peacefully after an illness bravely borne, on Wednesday, 21st May 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Bridget Mary Hickey.
Thomas will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, his son Brendan, sisters Tracey (Kelliher), Eileen (Jones), brothers Danny and Patrick, sister-in-law Jackie, brothers-in-law Seanie and John, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, a large circle of friends and especially his dear friend James.
The Hickey Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the South Infirmary Hospital, Cork, C.U.H, the Palliative Care Team and his home care nurses. The support and kindness shown to Thomas was very much appreciated.
May Thomas Rest In Peace
Reposing at St. Bridget’s Funeral Home, Gneeveguilla (P51 T657), on Friday, 23rd May, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla.
Requiem mass for Thomas will take place on Saturday, 24th May at 1:30pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
