Sheila O'Dowd (nee Flynn) of Tullig, Castleisland and formerly of Kilquane, Cordal
Sheila passed away peacefully on June 12th 2026, in the presence of her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Carrig Ward at University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her husband Con, her parents Michael and Bridie and her brother Dermot (Big D.). Sadly missed by her loving family, Martina, Gerard (Jerh) and Breda, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Fionnuala, Breda's partner Liam, her adored eight grandchildren Caoimhe, Gearóid , Killian, Julia, Connie, Tadhg, Finn and Siún, her sisters Mary and Margaret , nephews, nieces, all extended family .relatives, neighbours and many friends .

Reposing at Tangney's Funeral Home Church Street Castleisland on Sunday evening (June 14th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her residence on Monday morning (June 15th) at 11:30am arriving to Cordal Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. John's Cemetery Castleisland. The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/cordal
