Sheila Murphy née Garvey, Ballycarbery, Cahersiveen.
Sheila passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at St Anne’s Hospital, Cahersiveen on August 24th, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Mick Murphy. Predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers Jack, Dinny and Mike.
Sheila will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lovingly remembered by her daughter Maureen and son Patrick, her daughter-in-law Mary B and son-in-law Tommy, her grandchildren Carmel and husband Denis, Deirdre, Colm, Maureen, Emma, Laura and husband Brendan, Jennifer and also her great-grandson Daragh Patrick.
Sheila will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Waking in Daly's Funeral Home, Cahersiveen on both Monday, August 25th and Tuesday, August 26th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Removal on Tuesday evening to The Nuns' Chapel, Daniel O'Connell Memorial Church, arriving at 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 27th at 11:00a.m. in The Nuns' Chapel. The mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/cahersiveen/ Burial afterwards in Killavarnogue Cemetery.
