Sheila McCarthy née O' Sullivan-Cummeen, Clogherane, Lauragh, Killarney and formerly of Drombohilly, Tuosist. On the 17th of September, 2025, Sheila passed away peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Kenmare Nursing Home and in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Felix. Loving mother of Gerard, Michael and Mary (Heaphy, Lisgoold, Co Cork). Adoring grandmother of Rachel, June, Luke, Michael, Finn, Evan, Ellen and Jack. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Julia and her siblings Jimmy and Kathleen. Sadly missed and dearly loved by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, sister Mary (Donnelly), daughters-in-law Colette and Mary, son-in-law John, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Friday evening (September 19th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass for Sheila will take place on Saturday morning (September 20th) at 11.00am in St Killian's Church, Lauragh followed by burial in Kilmackillogue Cemetery.
