The death has occurred of Sheila (Julianne) O’Callaghan née O’Sullivan, Ahane, Knocknagoshel, who passed away peacefully on the 24th of November, aged 92, in the wonderful care of the palliative team and staff of the District Hospital, Killarney. Predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel and her son Donie O’Callaghan. Lovingly remembered by her sons John, Eamonn, and her daughter Joan Kennedy, together with their spouses Mary, Marie, and Noel. Fondly remembered by her adored grandchildren — Maríosa and her husband Michael, Daniel, Anne Marie and her spouse Neil, Elaine and her spouse Yudi, Siobhán, Síle-Caitríona and Helena O’Callaghan and her partner Matthew, Daniel Kennedy and his partner Niamh and Eamonn — and by her cherished great-granddaughter Sophia Fleming. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel Village this Wednesday evening November 26th from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem mass for Sheila will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Knocknagoshel on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Knocknagoshel.
