Seamus Brosnan, Glountane, Cullen, Co. Cork. and late of Tournanough, Kilcummin.
Seamus passed away peacefully on 14th June 2026, in University Hospital Kerry after a brief illness, bravely fought, formerly of Tournanough, Kilcummin. Predeceased by his parents Kate and Michael, his baby daughter Breda, granddaughter Ellie, sister Doreen and her husband Jack. Deeply missed by his adored wife Noreen, sons Michael, John, Seamie, Denis and Tim, daughter Noreen, daughters-in-law Michelle, Vyonne, Marie, Aileen and Laura, son-in-law Pa, grandkids Meghan, Kelly, Katie, Elaina, Oisín, Fía, Ava, Evan, Dara, Emer, Rory, Aoife, Evie and Páidí, brothers Timmy Joe, Michael and Gerard, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brother-in law, relatives, neighbours and a very wide circle of friends.
The family would like to thank all the staff at University Hospital Kerry and in particular to the stroke unit for their kindness in their care of Seamus over the past few days.
Reposing at O'Leary's Funeral Parlour, Knocknagree (Eircode P51 WD63) on Tuesday from 5.30 to 8pm. Funeral arriving at Christ the King Church, Knocknagree on Wednesday at 11.30am for 12 noon Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in Cullen cemetery.
