Robert (Bob) Fitzgerald of Ballyfinogue, Rathanny, Tralee

Bob will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Tuesday (14^th October) from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Brendan’s Church, Clogher on Wednesday morning where the Requiem Mass for Bob will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in Old Rath Cemetery, Tralee. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. care of The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.

May he rest in peace

Family information- Beloved husband of June, adored father of Liam, Fionnán, Aileen, Damien & Robert and dear brother of Phil and the late Eileen & Nora.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Meadhbh, Seán, Liam, Eimear, Darragh & May, son-in-law James, daughters-in-law Eibhlís, Edel & Brenda, brothers-in-law Thomas & Justin, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Sincere condolences to June and all the Fitzgerald family on the passing of Bobby. Bobby, my neighbour, taught me in the Green in Tralee, his and my first class there. He was a great teacher, neighbour, and father. I remember his self- deprecating sense of humour. On a Quiz night in the half way, we were trying to answer a question on the most populous city in Africa. Bobby turns to me, and asks, "Who taught you geography?". He did of course. He was a really kind, humble, humane and compassionate human being. Will be missed. R.I.P.
