Rita McKenna [née O’Shea]

Rita McKenna [née O’Shea], of Dromreag, Firies, Killarney and formerly of Acres, Firies.

Rita passed away peacefully on September 22nd in the excellent care of the team in the Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee aged 88 years.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Patrick, parents Daniel and Bridget and her brother Denis.

Sadly missed by her loving family her daughter Noreen, son Pádraig, daughter-in-law Breda, grandchildren Sarah, Aoifa and David, relatives, friends and good neighbours.

Reposing at Eamon O’Connor’s Funeral Home, Firies on tomorrow (Friday) evening from 5 to 7 o’clock.

Funeral cortège for Rita McKenna will arrive to St Gertrude’s Church, Firies on Saturday morning at 10.50 for the Requiem Mass of Rita McKenna [née O’Shea], at 11 o’clock.

Burial will take place afterwards in New Kilnanare Cemetery.

Rita’s Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on MCN live.
