Rev. Fr. Philip O’Connell

Fr. Philip was born to Eternal Life, peacefully on June 3^rd 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of Our Lady of Fatima Home, Tralee.

Fr. Philip is predeceased by his parents Jerry and May (nee O’Connor), his brother Denis and his sisters Esther and Kathleen.

Fr. Philip will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brothers Wim and Jerry, his sisters Carmel (Polly) and Anne, The Most Reverend Bishop Ray Browne and fellow priests of the diocese, brother in law Brian, sister in law Vera, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

‘Requiescat in Pace’

Fr. Philip will repose at St. Mary’s Church, Tarbert, on this Monday evening (June 9^th) from 5pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Rev. Fr. Philip O’Connell will be celebrated on Tuesday (June 10^th) at 11am. Interment to follow in the Chapel Yard.
