Peggy passed away peacefully in Valentia Community Hospital on May 10th 2026 surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the wonderful staff at Valentia Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late John and loving mother to Padraig, Fiona, Sinead, Triona, Ciara, Aoife and Shauna, sons-in-law, her sisters Maureen and Kitty and her grandchildren; David, Anna, Michael, Harry, Ava, Daniel, Luke, Aoife, Joseph and JC, Nephews, Nieces, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband John, her parents Patrick and Marguerita and infant son Sean, and her beloved daughter Orla
May Peggy Rest in Peace
Reposing at Fitzgerald's Funeral Home Waterville (V23 RK24) on Tuesday 12th of May from 6 pm to 8.30 pm with removal afterwards to St Finian’s Church Waterville arriving at 8.45pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday 13th of May at 1pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations if desired to Valentia Hospital.
