Peggy Brassil nee Brosnan of Caherwisheen and formerly Edward Street, Tralee, died peacefully on 1st January 2026, beloved wife of the late Liam (died March 2025), adored mother of Margaret (Hynes), Noreen (Healy), Moira (Quirke), John, Ber (Cotter), Paula (Carroll), Lorna (White) & Michelle (Fleming), dear sister of Jane & Brendan and the late Jimmy, Johnny, Anne, Paddy, Micheál, Maureen & Eileen, grandmother of the late Emma and mother-in-law of the late Paddy, Karl & Gerry. Sadly missed by her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sons-in-law Ger, Johnny, Denis, Brian & Denis, daughter-in-law Noreen (Whelan), brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at her home in Caherwisheen (V92N6D8) Tralee on Friday (2nd January) from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Brendan’s Church, Curraheen (V92R275) on Saturday where the Requiem Mass for Peggy will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment afterwards in Annagh Cemetery.
