Noreen Murphy née O’Sullivan, Newtown, Clarina, Co. Limerick and formerly of Garryglass, Waterville.

 

January 22nd 2026 unexpectedly but peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Beloved wife of Jim. Dearly loved mother of Gráinne, Emer, Mairéad and Íde. Noreen will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law Barry and Enda, Íde’s fiancé Tim, her adored grandchildren Charlie, Maeve, Ciara and Ivy, brother Micheál (Mike), sisters Maureen, Margaret, Bridget, Catherine, Helen and the late Sheila, Jim’s brother Mick, sister-in-law Colette, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, her much-loved neighbours in Newtown along with her many friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

Reposing in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballybrown on Monday from 5.15 to 7.15pm.

 

Requiem Mass for Noreen Murphy (née O’Sullivan) will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilkeedy Cemetery.

 

Noreen’s Requiem will be live-streamed on the Ballybrown Church Ttwitch stream.

A memorial mass for Noreen will be held in Kerry at a later stage.
