Nora Scanlon (née Mulvihill) of Moher, Moyvane and formerly of Aughrim, Moyvane
Nora passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on June 3rd, 2026. Nora is predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick, her parents John and Hannah, brother Patrick Mulvihill, sisters-in-law May Mulvihill, Mai Costello, Betty O'Connor, Sr. Eileen and Sr. Josie and brother-in-law Fr. John Scanlon. Forever loved and cherished by her children, Hanna Marie, John, Josephine, Norma, Pat and Mike, her loving grandchildren Patrick, Maurice, Sarah, Róisín and Seán, son-in-law Ben, nieces Anna Marie and Caroline, nephews John and Andrew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle and kind soul rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Friday evening (June 5th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Moyvane on Saturday morning at 11.45am, with the Requiem Mass for Nora being celebrated at 12 noon, live-streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/moyvane , followed by burial afterwards in Ahavoher Cemetery, Moyvane.
