Nancy Mahony (nee Griffin) of Camp, Castleisland and formerly of Currans Village
Nancy passed away peacefully on May 28th 2026, in her 100th year, with her loving family by her side , in the wonderful care of the staff at the Killarney Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Con, son Connie, grandson Stephen, brother Seán and her sisters Maureen, Kit and Sheila. Sadly missed by her loving family, Margaret, Anne, Nora and Denis , sons-in-law Michael. Connie and Denis, daughter-in-law Mary, her adored and adoring grandchildren Eve, Neil, Anna, Gráinne, Áine, Orla, D.J.Seán, Kevin, Con and Siobhán, and her dearly cherished greatgrandchildren who called her ''Big Nana'', Ailbhe, Croiá, Michael and Sophie, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends .
May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at Tangney's funeral home, Church Street Castleisland on Monday evening 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to Castleisland parish church. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11am with burial afterwards In New Ardcrone Cemetery, Currans. The mass will be livestreamed on churchservices.tv.
