Beloved husband and cherished father Michéal Dennehy, Bridge Street, Ballylongford passed away peacefully in the care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by his loving family on July 15th 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kitty, brothers Denis and Tom, sister Eileen and his aunt Mary Joe O' Donoghue.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Margaret, sons Michéal, Ciarán, Ruairi, Tomás and Shane, his daughters Sinéad and Mary, sons-in-law Seán and Quentin, daughters-in-law Jo-Ann, Monique and Tula, his beloved grandchildren Siobhán, Tomás, Seán Óg, Áine, Cillian, Luke, Aoibheann, Helouise, Alisha, Ruben and Michéal.
Michéal will be greatly missed by his extended family in Ballylongford and surrounding areas and extended family in London also.
Michéal will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues in Lenamore Rovers who have immortalized him by naming their home pitch, Michéal Dennehy Park.
The family would like to thank the nurses, care workers and medical team at Tralee Palliative Care Unit UHK for their wonderful care and support.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at Lynch's Funeral Home, Main Street, Ballylongford on this Friday evening July 18th from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass for Michéal will take place on Saturday July 19th at 3pm in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Ballylongford followed by interment afterwards in Reilig Mhichil, Ballylongford.
