It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michael O'Connor, Fleanmore, Glin, Co. Limerick, in the kind and professional care of all the staff in U.H.L. on Wednesday January 7th 2026, surrounded by his loving wife Irene and family.

Beloved son of the late Michael and Marie O'Connor. Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Irene, sisters Mary (O'Connor), Bernadette (Morrissey, Ennis), brothers Chris (Kinsale), Moss (Clonlara), Eddie (Barefield), Emmet (Ballyhahill), Gerard (Tralee), Joseph (Clooney, Quinn, Co Clare), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

May Michael Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin from 4.30 pm until 7 pm on Friday 9th January. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin on Saturday 10th January at 11.00 am followed by burial in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to Prostate Cancer Research.

 

Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/glin

 

Special thanks and appreciation to the Emergency Services, Medical, Nursing and Staff of ED and Ward 8D Teams.
