Maurice W. Harnett, Mountain View, Knockbrack, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee, on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, with his family by his side.

 

Predeceased by his parents Willie and Mame.

 

Maurice is very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Margaret, son Liam, daughter Elena, son-in-law Alan, daughter-in-law Síomha, adored grandchildren Sadie, William and Sophia, brother Billy, sister Mary (O’ Mahony, Ballyvourney), brother-in-law Martin, sister-in-law Marian, nephew and niece, all his other relatives and a large circle of friends.

 

May Maurice Rest In Peace

 

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Friday, 6th March from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Maurice will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption Abbeyfeale on Saturday, 7th March at 11.00 a.m.

 

Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the following link:

Interment afterwards in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Abbeyfeale.
