Maureen Aherne née Murphy, Knocknaglough, Lyreacrompane and formerly of Knockanebrack, Lyreacrompane.
Peacefully, on May 11th, 2026, at Lystoll Lodge Nursing Home, Listowel surrounded by her loving family. Beloved sister of the late Liam, Michael, Kitty and Derdie. Maureen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Dan, daughter Helen, son Ian, sisters Eileen and Phil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Wednesday evening (May 13th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to The Sacred Heart Church, Lyreacrompane on Thursday morning at 11.15am, with the Requiem Mass for Maureen being celebrated at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in Lyreacrompane Cemetery.
