Express your Sympathy

Mattie Kelly, West Ealing, London and St. Ita’s, Convent Street, Abbeyfeale, formerly of Rylane, Abbeyfeale who passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Kilcara House Nursing Home Duagh on Friday, January 28th 2022.

Mattie is deeply regretted by his brothers Patsy and John Joe, sister-in-law Diane, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and all his other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale on Sunday from 6.00 p.m. until 7.00p.m.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00 a.m. in St. Brigid’s Church Duagh.

Requiem Mass will then be live streamed on the following link:

Burial afterwards in Springmount Cemetery.

A walk through system is in place at the funeral home. Please observe social distancing guidelines and please wear a mask when attending the funeral. No handshaking please.

So sorry to read that Mattie has passed away. I worked with him as a young engineer and remember him as a kind and generous man. He always loved to talk about Kerry and gave me weekly updates on the news in the Kerryman! I will keep him in my prayers.
