Martin O' Brien, Gortamullen Heights, Kenmare and formerly of Ballincollig, Co. Cork and Silvermines, Co. Tipperary.

On the 10th of February, 2026, Martin passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Nurses and Staff of St Joseph's Nursing Home, Kenmare and surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ena (nee O' Sullivan). Loving dad of Martin, Carmel and Gerard. Adoring grandad of Tara, Aoife, Killian, Niamh, Eoghan, Róisín, Lucy and Abbie. Predeceased by his parents John and Rebecca, his infant twin sister Mary, sister Ann and brothers John and Ted.

Sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Rhys, daughters-in-law Ruth and Noramai, sister Ollie, brothers Pat and Mike, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Wednesday evening (February 11th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass for Martin will take place on Thursday morning (February 12th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on www.kenmareparish.ie followed by burial in Holy Cross New Cemetery, Kenmare.

Martin's family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Staff at Bantry General Hospital, The Kenmare Medical Centre, The Home Help Team and the Nurses and Staff of St Joseph's Nursing Home for their exceptional care and kindness shown to Martin.
