Marian McCarthy née Harrington, 34 Scarteen Park, Kenmare and Ardea, Tuosist.
On the 21st of April 2026, Marian passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Bon Secours Hospital Cork and in the presence of her heartbroken family. Beloved wife of John, loving mother of Fiona (Lovett), Caroline (Twomey) and Natasha (Keogh). Adoring grandmother to Rebecca, Sophie, Shane, Cian, Ronan, Niamh and Rian. Predeceased by her parents Cáit and Pat Harrington, her Aunt Mary (Baxter), brothers-in-law Pat and Bill and her sister-in-law Mary. Sadly missed and dearly loved by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Pat, Kevin and John, sisters-in-law Joan, Peg, Noreen and Betty, sister Peggy, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Thursday evening (April 23rd) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass for Marian will take place on Friday morning (April 24th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on http://www.kenmareparish.ie/ followed by burial in Kilmackillogue Cemetery.
As Marian loved flowers we gladly welcome them. Alternatively donations can be made in Lieu to the Irish Cancer Society.
