Margaret O’Brien née Galvin, Laharn & formerly Meadowlands, Tralee and Greenville, Listowel.
Margaret died peacefully at home, surrounded by her heartbroken family, on 22nd November 2025.
Beloved partner of Patrick O’Leary (formerly of Newmarket, Cork), cherished mother of Shane & James and dearest sister Kitty (Twomey).
Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Caoilinn, Fionn, Ruadh, Rory John & Sadhbh, daughters-in-law Roisín & Fausia, sister-in-law Marie (Galvin), nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
Rest in Peace.
Margaret will repose at her home in Laharn (V92HR9C), on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Tuesday morning at 10.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Margaret O’Brien (nee Galvin) will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net).
Interment afterwards in Réalt na Mara Cemetery, Churchill.
