The death has occurred of
Josephine Walsh née Collins, Tarmons, Tarbert,and formerly of Ballygoughlin, Glin, Co. Limerick. Josephine passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of her loving family, at home in Tarmons, on July 1st 2025.
Josephine is predeceased by her beloved husband Bill, her parents William and Nora (nee Buckley), her brother Seán, sisters Anna, Sr. Sheila and May (Carr).
Josephine will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving sons Maurice, Liam, Eamon and Kieran, daughters Breda, Noreen and Sheila, sister Frances, sons-in-law Des, D.J. and Gary, daugthers-in-law Barbara, Mary, Siobhán and Shirley, brothers-in-law Maurice and Tom, her twenty grandchildren, her eighteen great-grandchildren, nephew, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Josephine will repose at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Tarbert on this Friday evening (July 4th) from 6pm until 8pm. Josephine’s Funeral Cortege will arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Tarbert on this Saturday morning (July 5th) at 10:45am, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Tarbert.
