Joseph Riney, Cooryeen, Tuosist, Kenmare. On the 8th of January, 2026, Joseph passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Nurses and Staff of St Joseph's Nursing Home, Kenmare. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bernadette (nee O' Leary), his parents Michael and Mary (nee McCarthy), his brothers John, Jeremiah, Michael, Paddy, Dan and Denis. Sadly missed and dearly loved by his sons Michael and John, daughter Marie, grandchildren Ciara, Cormac, Aoife, Jack and Hannah, sons-in-law Coilín and Joey, daughter-in-law Tamsin, nephews and nieces in both Ireland and Chicago, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Friday evening (January 9th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass for Joseph will take place on Saturday morning (January 10th) at 11.00am in St Killian's Church, Lauragh followed by burial in Kilmackillogue Cemetery.
