Johnny McCarthy, (Coolnoohill, Kilgarvan, Co Kerry). On the 10th of June, 2026, Johnny passed away peacefully in the presence of his heartbroken family. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Murphy). Loving dad of John, Anne (Riordan), Eileen (O' Leary), Mary, Denis, Donal, Noreen and the late baby Mary. Adoring grandad of Natasha, Amy, Colin, Vanessa, Méabh, Seán, Sinéad, Áine, Emma and Faye. Cherished brother of Eileen (Mullins). Predeceased by his parents Denis and Minnie.
Sadly missed and dearly loved by his sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister, sons-in-law Connie, Mossy, Ted and Mike, daughters-in-law Mags and Grace, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends especially Dan Murphy.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Friday evening (June 12th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass for Johnny will take place on Saturday morning (June 13th) at 11.00am in St Patrick's Church, Kilgarvan, which will be live streamed on the Kilgarvan Parish Facebook page, followed by burial in St Gobnait's Cemetery, Ballyvourney, Co Cork (via Coolnoohil).
