It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Prendeville, Árdamór, Liospóil, Co. Kerry, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. John is predeceased by his sisters Joan and Betty (Hickson). Beloved husband of Bridget (Griffin) and brother of Michael, John was the devoted and cherished father of daughter Amanda ; her husband Denis O’ Dowd; son Seán ; his wife Andréa; son Jimmy, his wife Órla; daughter Caroline; daughter Jane , her husband Johnny Keane, son Michael.
Lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren Micheál , Tomás O’ Dowd; Jack , Holly Prendeville; Rose Prendeville; Sandra Keane. John will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law Dan (Griffin), sisters-in-law Margaret (Grummel), Kathleen (Leahy), their respective families and his sister-in-law Anne.
John will be lovingly remembered by his nephews, nieces, cousins, wide circle of friends and great neighbours.

Reposing tomorrow (Thurs) evening at O'Connor's Funeral Home, Dingle from 4pm to 7pm.
Remains to arrive at Lispole Church on Friday morning where the Requiem mass for John Prendeville will be celebrated at 11am,
followed by interment in Kinard Cemetery.
No flowers by request donations if desired to the Kerry Hospice Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.
