John Doran

The death has occurred of John Doran, late of Rose Cottage, Littor Road, Asdee, and formally of Glounawilliam, Asdee, Listowel. Died peacefully at his home on 9th November 2024, in his 93rd year.

Predeceased by his brother Joseph (USA), sisters Maureen and Noreen.

Cherished husband of Catherine (Kitty) nee Hennessy. Beloved father of Mary, Noreen, John, Breda, Mairead, Kathleen, Martina and Eamon. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Bernie and Liz, and sons-in-law Jim, Ray, Anthony, Donal and Will. Adored grandfather of John, Niall, Maura, Pat, Shannon, Ronan, Aaron, Colleen, Jim, Niamh, Amy, Shea, Cathal, Catherine and Jack. Great-grandfather of Shane, Mila, Nell and Luke. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, extended relations and his wide circle of friends, including his furry friend Pearl.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at his residence, Littor Road, Asdee, V31 C990, on Monday evening 11th November from 6pm-8pm. Requiem mass for John will take place on Tuesday 12th November morning at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Asdee, followed by internment afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Listowel.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Palliative Care, Kerry University Hospital. A donation box will be in place at the funeral.
