John Carter of Shanakeale, Castlemaine
John passed away in CUH on Tuesday December 30th 2025, in the loving care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Frances, sister Olive and brother Michael. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, son Damien, sisters Ann, Florrie and Eileen, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and his many friends and neighbours.

Reposing Sunday evening at Flynn's Funeral Home Castlemaine from 4.30pm - 6 o' clock. Funeral arriving Monday morning to St. Gobnait's Church Keel for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on churchmedia.tv
