Beloved husband of Bridget and cherished father of John, Michael, Martin, Richard, Martina, Mary, Elizabeth, Linda, Breda and Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving family – his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren Darragh, Cormac, Jan, Neressa, Sarah and Rebecca, great-granddaughter Nadine, sons-in-law Neil (O’Donnell) and Thomas (Daly), daughter-in-law Marie, brothers Michael, Martin, Robert, Richard and Paddy, sisters Mag, Liz, Mary, Lucy and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his son David (27th April 2026), his daughter Catherine, brother Anthony and sisters Breda and Jacqueline.

Reposing at McElligott’s Funeral Home, Tralee on Thursday from 5.00PM to 6.30PM. Funeral arriving to St John’s Parish Church, Tralee on Friday morning at 9.30AM where the Requiem Mass for John will be celebrated at 10.00AM followed by interment afterwards in New Rath Cemetery.
