Johanna (Joan) passed away peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick on Friday 19th June 2026, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her parents Maurice P. and Annie Leahy, brothers Patrick, John, Eamon, Maurice and Nessan, and her three nephews. Joan is very sadly missed by her sisters-in-law, Joan and Nora, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, 21st June from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Joan will be celebrated in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Templeglantine, on Monday, 22nd June at 11.00 a.m. Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
