Joan (Jonie) passed away peacefully on February 19th 2026 with her loving family by her side, in the excellent care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her husband Harold , son Albert and her partner Mikey Joe . Sadly missed by her loving family, Paudie, Colette and Edel, daughter-in-law Deborah , son-in-law John Sheehan and Colette's partner John Barrett , her adored eight grandchildren, Jack, Lorna, Ronnie, Padraig Jnr, Olivia, Tadgh, Aoibhin and Evan, her sister Rosie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews,nieces, relatives,neighbours and many friends, most especially Stephanie.

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home Church Street Castleisland on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her residence on Monday morning at 10.30am arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am . Burial afterwards in Kilbanivane Cemetery Castleisland. The mass will be live-streamed on church services.tv
