Joan Free- Scannell (nee Lynch), Derrynasagart, Ballyvourney. A private funeral will take place in keeping with government guidelines regarding public gatherings. Joan’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Gobnait’s Church, Ballyvourney at 2pm on Friday and will be live streamed at www.munsterfunerallivestream.ie/joan-scannell with funeral afterwards to St.Gobnait’s Cemetery, Ballyvourney. Joan’s Funeral Cortege will leave her residence on Friday at 1.30pm. those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot, due to current restrictions , can leave a personal message by selecting “condolences” on the website.

Family Information: On 27th July 2021, peacefully at Aperee Living Nursing Home, Tralee, Joan (Free) (nee Lynch), beloved wife of Sean and loving mother of Tadgie, Freddie, Noreen (Noonan) and Donie, predeceased by her brothers Donal and Denis, her sisters Mary, Sheila and Margaret. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughter, daughters-in- law Noreen (Barrett), Susan, Kelly, son-in-law Kieran (Noonan). Her 10 adoring and adored grandchildren Claire, Paige, Naomi, Shannon, Jack, Amy, Sean Og, Lily, Doireann and Clodagh, sisters-in-law Maura Lynch, Maryanne Lynch , Marion O’Leary, brothers-in-law Diarmuid Mc Sweeney, Tim, Connie and Donal Scannell, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends. May she rest in peace
