Jimmy Joe passed away peacefully in the loving care of Listowel Community Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on 24th July 2026. Predeceased by his parents Nora and Patrick, his brother Martin Anthony and his sister Margaret Whitaker late of Norwich U.K. Dearly loved and sadly missed by his sister Benny (McElligott), brother-in-law Gerard, nephew David, nieces Emma, Louise and Norma, grandniece Sadbh, grandnephews Alfie, Patrick, Darragh, Zach, Maxi, Dara and Conor, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at Casey's Funeral Home Causeway (Sunday 26th July) from 6pm to 7.45pm followed by removal to S.S Peter & Paul's Church, Ballyduff. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Jimmy Joe on Monday morning at 11 am livestreamed on St. Peter's and St Paul Church followed by burial in Rahela Cemetery, Ballyduff. Family flowers only donations if desired to Ard Chúram Day Care Centre, Listowel.
