It’s with great sadness that we announce the death of James Russell, Dreenagh, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry. V92W8D2, and formerly of Churchill, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal who passed away on 29th May 2025, in the wonderful care of the Palliative care team at Kerry University Hospital
Predeceased by his parents Jim & Nora Russell, brother Charlie, Sister Elma and Brother in Law Alex.
Beloved father of Marie & Son in Law Shane. Loving grandad (Dano) of Charlie & Callum. He will be sadly missed by his partner Kathleen, Brother John, Sisters Ruth, Sandra & Louise, his step children Christina, Michelle, Laura & Mark. Extended family, neighbours and many friends.
James will repose at his daughter Marie & Son in Law Shane’s Home, Dreenagh Ballyheigue, V92 W8D2 tomorrow Friday 30th May 2025 from 3pm to 10pm, where you are welcome to pay your respects. House private please at all other times.
The funeral cortege will pass through Ballyheigue Village on Saturday the 31st May 2025 at approximately 12 noon followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to the Palliative Care Unit, Kerry University Hospital .
