Peacefully, on July 30th 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the wonderful staff of St Catherine's Nursing Home, Newcastlewest.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridget (Carr) and his sister Peggy (Broderick).

Jimmy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Ellen Riordan (Templeglantine), Maria Lane (Abbeyfeale), Bridget McSweeney (Ballyhahill) and son Michael (Glin); sons-in-law Patrick, John and Martin and daughter-in-law Anne; his adored 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his sisters Annie McMahon (Glin) and Mary Hardy (Essex); brothers-in-law Patsy and Tom, sister-in-law Julia Culhane (Glin), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Healy's Funeral Home, Glin (V94 C3C6) on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5pm with Removal at 7.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin. Requiem Mass on Saturday, August 2nd at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin.
