James (Jimmy) Cooley, Chapel Road, Ballyheigue and formerly of Kildysart, Co. Clare;
peacefully at home on the 7th January 2026 at the age of 88 in the loving care of his family. Pre-deceased by his son Michael, parents Nora and Jack, brothers John, Joe, Mickey, sisters Mary and Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving family, beloved husband of Kitty, cherished father of John, Noreen, Jimmy, Joseph, Maggie, Kieran and Kathleen. Jimmy will be forever missed by his wife, children and grandchildren, Jonathan, Steven, Lydia, Kim, Star, Amber, Fionn, Fiachra, Gavin, Bláthin, Sadbh, Tadgh, Oisin, Alana and Finian, sister Noreen and her husband Michael, brother Louis, sons-in-law Alan and Seamie, daughters-in-law Grace, Clare, Andrea and Mimi, nephews, nieces and relatives and friends.

Jimmy will repose at Hartnett's Funeral Home (V92 WTK8) Ballyheigue on Friday 9th January from 5pm to 7 pm. Requiem mass for Jimmy will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday in St. Mary's Church, Ballyheigue. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's new Cemetery, Ballyheigue.
