James Hurley of Liscahane, Ardfert and formerly Rossmore, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, died peacefully on 4th February 2026, beloved husband of the late Teresa and dear father of Michael, John, James, Liz & Theresa, brother of the late Joe, Jerry, John Paul and Denis Anthony.
Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Leonie, Maeve, Ciara and Rhys, sisters Mary Hurley and Betty O’Loughlin, daughters-in-law Noelle, Martina & Rebecca, son-in-law Thomas Mulvihill, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

James will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Saturday (7th February) from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Brendan’s Church, Ardfert on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for James will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/st-brendans-church-1). Interment afterwards in The Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.
