James Carolan of 11. Gleann Rua, Shinnagh, Rathmore
James passed away peacefully on 25th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness. Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, Amy, Jennifer and Aishling, and partners, Mike and John; his granddaughters Alannah and Aoife. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Sheila, sister Deirdre Gordan and his niece Tara Carolan, and brother in law Gerard Moylan. Sadly missed by his brothers Bernard, Dan and Michael; his sisters, Marie, Anne, Margaret, Kate and Eileen; his brothers - in - law, sisters - in - law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and his wide circle of friends, especially his dear long - time friend Dan and his neighbours. James's family would like to thank the Millstreet Medical Centre. A special thank you to the nurses, and all the staff of Medical 2, Mallow General Hospital and Dr. Sarah Haywood for their wonderful care, kindness and compassion shown to James and his family

Reposing at O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Rathmore on Sunday 28th June from 5pm to 7pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Joseph's Church, Rathmore. Requiem mass on Monday 29th June at 11am, Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers Only Please.
