Frances McCarthy née O' Sullivan, Woodside, Kenmare and formerly of Derrynid, Tuosist
On the 16th of November, 2025 Frances passed away peacefully, in her 99th year, in the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff at Kenmare Nursing Home and surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Donnchadh (Denis), (Germany), Eibhlin (Murphy, Newcastlewest), Geraldine (Mangan, Killorglin), Mary (Cashman, Mallow) and Kitty (Cronin, Carraig na bhFear). Adoring nana of Karen, Andrew, Michelle, Caitríona, Nicole, Eimear, Aoife, Conor and Cathal, cherished great-grandmother (old nana) of Ada, Ben, Faye, Lola, Ruth, Tom, Kate and Lily.
Sadly missed and dearly loved by her son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Pat, Francis, Pat and Johnny, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Tuesday evening (November 18th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass for Frances will take place on Wednesday morning (November 19th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on http://kenmareparish.ie/followed by burial in Holy Cross New Cemetery, Kenmare.
