The death has occurred of Emily O’Sullivan (nee McCarthy), New York and formerly of Laharan South, Caherciveen, who entered eternal rest peacefully at home on December 12, 2025, surrounded by love.

Predeceased by her loving husband John (Jack) O’Sullivan, Boolikeel, Ballinskelligs, and her parents John and Hannah McCarthy, Laharan South, Caherciveen.

Emily will be deeply missed by her loving children Patrick, Eileen and Michael , son-in-law Kevin, daughters-in-law Karen and Scarlett, her grandchildren, Sarah, Lindsay, Kelsey, Jack, Annabelle, Laura, Madison, John, Hailey and Noah; her sisters Sheila, Joan, Eileen and brother, John Joe, along with many nieces and nephews.

Reposing at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, New York on Sunday from 5-8pm and on Monday from 2-4pm & 6-9pm.

Requiem Mass for Emily O’Sullivan (nee McCarthy) will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am in St Aidan Church, 505 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, New York, followed by burial in Mount Saint Mary’s Cemetery Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, New York.
