Eileen Shanahan of Ballyrickard Court, Tralee, died peacefully on 1st January 2026, loving mother of Anthony & Clodagh, dear sister of Mary, Joanne, Rachel, Michael & Maurice and beloved daughter of the late Mossie & Joan. Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law Frankie & David, sisters-in-law Kathleen & Michelle, aunt Eileen, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace.
Eileen will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday (2nd January) from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 11.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Eileen will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Private cremation will follow.
