Eileen Mangan née O'Donoghue of Athenry, Co Galway and formerly of Cahersiveen and Kilrush, Co Clare.
Eileen passed away peacefully on Friday, 29th May 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in the compassionate care of the wonderful staff at Galway Hospice. Deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her children Tomás, Cathal, Colm, Ronan, and Julia, her daughters-in-law Jane, Dorcas, Dympna and Gaelle, her adored grandchildren Fabian, Geordan, Nessa, Seán, Ruaidhrí, Dympna, Hannah, Lola, Neeve, and Celeste. She will be sadly missed by her cherished siblings Treasa, Martin and Bernadette, as well as by her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Monday 1st June from 5pm to 6:30pm. Arriving to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle on Tuesday 2nd of June for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
