Dermot passed away on Saturday the 4th of July 2026 in University Hospital Kerry.
Devoted husband of the late Noreen (née Murphy) and loving father of Seán and Breeda (O'Keeffe). Sadly missed by his family, son-in-law David, cherished and adored grandchildren Noreen, Dermot and Sheila, brothers James (Jimmy), Patrick, Michael, Donal and Gerald, sisters-in-law Eileen, Maureen and Eileen, brother-in-law Ted Murphy and his wife Sheila, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Dermot is predeceased by his parents John and Bridie, his sister Joan (Galvin) and her husband Patrick, sisters-in-law Helen, Brenda, Mary (O'Connor), Sheila (Spillane), Joan (Murphy) and his brothers-in-law Ned and Diarmuid Murphy.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Wednesday the 8th of July from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Funeral arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Listry on Thursday morning at 10:45am for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
