Dermot passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family after a long illness bravely borne. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Hannah-Mary, his loving children Amanda (Heffernan), Marie (Jones), Hazel (Deegan) and John, sons-in-law Denis, Tim and Simon, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Aaron, Corey, Kyle, Evan, Keelin, Lee, Chloe, Jessica, Ava, Adam and Sophie, great-granddaughters Aubrey and Hailey, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Cathedral Place, Killarney on Sunday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Mary's Cathedral Killarney on Monday morning at 10:00am for Requiem Mass at 10:30am. Burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery.
