Denis O’Connor, (Donnacada Ó Concubair), Clogherbrien, Tralee and late of Strand Street, Tralee, died peacefully at home and surrounded by his loving family on 3rd November 2025.

 

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Lucy, sister Gene, children Anne, Brian, Mary, Brenda, Aileen, Fiona and Joanne, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law Allison.

 

Fondly remembered by his nephew Jim, niece Elizabeth, grandchildren Donagh, Caoimhe, Eoghan, James, Rory, Lucy, Jack, Ava, Darragh, Aisling, Niamh, Róisín, Cian, Aoife, Sadhbh, Orlaith, Sean M, Ronan, Sean D and Doireann, great-grandchildren Saoirse and Ríbh, grandnephew Hugh, grandniece Kate, as well as his extended family and friends.

 

Predeceased by his mother Jo, his father Eugene, brothers Charlie and Hugh, and sisters Mary, Kathleen and Joan.

Reposing in the Rose Chapel at Hogan’s Funeral Home, Tralee, (V92 FX76) on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 from 6.00pm–8.00pm.

 

Funeral arriving to St John’s Church, Castle Street, Tralee, (V92 XD99) on Thursday 6th November at 9.30am where Requiem Mass for Denis will be celebrated at 10am (streamed on https://stjohns.ie/live-feed) followed by burial in Rath Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry (https://www.kerryhospice.com/).
