Danjoe Hallissey, Gortnacurra, Kenmare

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Maureen, his devoted sister Helen and brother-in-law Pat Byrne.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Hannah, adored daughter and son Maureen and Michael, heartbroken sisters Liz and Mary, extended family, a wide circle of friends and wonderful neighbours.

A private family funeral will take place for Danjoe. Requiem Mass on Monday ( April 19^th) at 11am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare, which will be livestreamed on www.kenmareparish.com Mass (livestreaming)- followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kenmare.

When I shook your hand saying goodbye on 4th March 2020 little did I think that I wouldn't see you again in this life. I know we will meet again in Heaven. You were a wonderful brother. Every time I came home you were there at Kerry Airport with a big smile on your face. I will miss our nightly chats mainly about farming, your animals and your dogs and Felix the cat . There was little else to chat about in these challenging times. May your gentle soul Rest in Peace.
